Past Perfect (Küptən ütkən zaman)

An action performed at some point in past time or the result of a past action or the state resulting from a past action.

🕔 Past tense II stem (past participle) of the verb with idem, ideñ, ide, etc.:

eşləgən ide


Imperfect (Təmamlanmağan ütkən zaman)

An action started in the past and is taking place when another action occurs. Reflects the process.

🕔 Present tense stem + idem, ideñ, etc.:

eşli ide


The Habitual Past (Qabatlawlı ütkən zaman)

Expresses an action that repeatedly took place in the past. The English equivalent is “used to do sth.”

🕔 Past participle of the verb toru followed by idem, ideñ, ide, etc.:

eşli torğan ide
